About BTSD-LB

If You are in the Long Beach, California Area, Come Explore an Authentic Japanese Martial Art Steeped in Centuries of Tradition: Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu!

The Art
Budo Taijutsu, sometimes known as Ninpo Taijutsu, is an art with roots derived from nine ryu or family-schools from Japan’s feudal past.  This is not a sport, but a Martial Art in the truest spirit of koryu or traditional school.  The techniques are practical and effective.  Women find Budo Taijutsu especially effective as size and physical strength are not essential for success.

The Organization
The Bujinkan is an international organization under the guidance of its Grandmaster, Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, world-renowned master of ninja and samurai arts.  The Grandmaster or Soke encourages those who train with concise and far-reaching words:  ”Keep Going!”  His guidelines for conduct are clear and pragmatic.  For more information on the Bujinkan, please visit www.bujinkan.com.

Training
At this time, we are only accepting adult students.  Those interested in training are welcome to visit and even participate.  Please apprise us of any health issues that may impact training and wear comfortable loose-fitting clothing for training.  You’ll find a welcoming environment with patient and friendly members.  For more information, please call 562-481-6065.
